Every year about this time, we take time out of doing drag racing "5:15" and try to find a story that best encapsulates a spirit of the Christmas Season. We have had some good ones, and this year's story continues that fine tradition. Ron Youngblood popped on our radar this year when he was working for London Township, Michigan. Bright, articulate and no-nonsense, Ron was our go-to person when we had questions about the Milan Dragway that was located in his township that only someone in his position could answer. We had no idea that he had a dark past. Incarcerated for years for a crime that should never taken place, Mr. Youngblood is that unique individual that saw the true horror of his action and fought daily to get away from that person and to become a new man. Teach others not to hate. Hard work and determination has helped Mr. Youngblood become a successful member in his community. He is also father of a newborn daughter. Listening to this story of a felon to beacon of what we all should be like restores faith in mankind. A perfect real life Christmas story...

ATTENTION to those who reside in the House of Mopar (or just like drag racing from the golden era), tonight you will be treated to the return of Joe Pappas of Mopar (Motown) Missile fame. On today's show, Joe talks in detail about the infamous "Wire Car" that was so ahead of it's time, it was banned from NHRA competition. Knowing that the voice on the other end of the phone was on legendary drag racing team in the golden days of the sport, we had so many questions to ask. Today our guest is Joe Pappas of the world famous "Motown (Mopar) Missile" team and he answered questions with such great insights we didn't want him to stop. In this case,it is Clyde Newsome and Levi Prater from the Sloan Onondaga Dragway that are coming in to pay us a visit.
