Many drag racing fans look back at the 70's & 80's as the golden era for Pro Stock and have a special place in their hearts for them. Mike Ruth and his compatriots are doing all they can to preserve that time in racing with their cars in the Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock Association (ed. note-are two groups that call themselves "Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock Association"- Mr. Ruth's is the one from the one that slogan is "Paying Tribute to the Legends"). Topics discussed with Mr. Ruth today include: How Mr. Ruth got involved with this club, Bob Glidden's family, getting his Bob Glidden Tribute car together, eagle-eye fans, match racing, long "burn-down" caper, what fans like to see, Lenco inside, period correctness in their cars, the "Grumpy Cup", when Mr. Ruth started drag racing, Mr. Ruth's second choice car, Mr. Ruth's chassis biz, his one big change in drag racing wish, his favorite track to race at, his sponsors and crew, favorite person to race against and so much more! Mr. Ruth is quite a fine ambassador to drag racing, we look forward to having him back with us.
